GKA Shorty Levers Improve Rider Feel and Comfort
The GKA shorty levers include a set of "two finger" clutch and brake levers. The levers are designed with high-grade aluminum to offer a better feel and a mechanical advantage over stock levers. Stock levers require more force to achieve the same effect.
The six levels of adjustability allow the rider to select a personalized "bar to lever" distance option. Built with modern computers and CNC technologies, the shorty levers are clean, durable and competitively priced within today's aftermarket community. GKA shorty levers are also available for Suzuki and Yamaha sport bikes.
Always Looking to Improve
We caught up with Product Developer Bart Ragowski of GKA Industries to talk about the technology behind their shorty race levers, which are designed and manufactured stateside.
"We recently went back and re-thought our lever design to make them stronger and lighter. We also added a little style to the lever body. We revised the web bed cutouts in the lever body to remove more material, while increasing the strength of the product," explained Rogowski.
"A cut-in divot was added to the lever body that will allow the end of the lever to break away in the event of a crash, leaving some lever remaining, so the bike can be moved or ridden away. The Gen2 levers are an improved version of our already successful design that has been selling well over the past few years," Rogowski added.
